I create Solus Forest for the places in us that need somewhere to disappear.

Solus Forest is my world of whimsical dreamscapes, filled with curious botanicals, unexpected colors, and mysterious winding trees somewhere between the natural and the dreamlike. My paintings are otherworldly sanctuaries where I can wander, sit alone, and escape the noise of everyday life. I invite you to escape into the forest with me.

The scenes of Solus Forest have always seemed to flow through me naturally, as though they were waiting to be discovered. I follow intuition, allowing each layer to suggest what comes next, letting the world reveal itself rather than being deliberately designed.

I moved to Asheville in 2013, drawn to its mountain landscapes and creative spirit. Surrounded by the forests of Western North Carolina and the vibrant community of the River Arts District, I continue to expand Solus Forest one painting at a time.
